Mala Black Bean Fried Rice

This quick fried rice is bean-forward and spicy, ideal for fast lunches and leftovers.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cold cooked rice
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp chili crisp
- 1/2 tsp ground Sichuan pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 scallions, sliced
Preparation
- Stir-fry cabbage in oil until just tender.
- Add black beans and rice.
- Stir in soy sauce, chili crisp, and Sichuan pepper.
- Cook until heated through and lightly crisp.
Assembly

- Top with scallion and optional sesame seeds.
